I believe that it happened only by His grace. But, is that mean my life is easier after declaring my faith?
No. I can still feel the pain in facing difficulties. Why I should feel the pain from facing the difficulties?

Hope this post will give comprehensive answer to that question

What will be first come to your mind when thinking about cross?

Surely you will have many answer.
For me, this symbolizes perfect pain to give perfect redemption. Yes, Jesus felt the pain throughout His days in this fallen world, including crucifixion hours, which has been prophesied in Psalm 22 and Jeremiah 53.

1. Psalm 22

This part of Psalms was written by the greatest king of Israel, David, which Jesus quoted the first part,

"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Why are you so far from saving me, from the words of my groaning?" - Psalms 22:1

"And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”" - Mark 15:34

Did God left David and Jesus? No

David wrote this to express his painfulness in becoming righteous person in front of the Lord. We know that he was chased by King Saul although David did not do anything wrong, betrayed by his son, and many others which can refer to book of Samuel.
While Jesus, quoted His great predecessor's Psalm to represent the human feeling when bearing the burden in fulfilling their responsibility.

Yes, Jesus was fulfilling His task in this world, born to be tortured  for redeeming us.
As a Son of Man in His 30s, crucifixion is not an easy thing, reflected on Mark 14:32-42 where He prayed to His Father, releasing His burdened feeling and mind.

It can be summarized that this chapter reflects Jesus' internal pain, how did He feel

2 Isaiah 53

Book of Isaiah has many Messianic verses, which Isiah 9:6 is the most famous one that describes the born of Messiah, Jesus Christ, and His mightiness

However, Isaiah 53 pictured the contrary of Jesus' image.
His appearance is pictured as an usual Jewish in that time. It is proven in Luke chapter two, He was circumcised in eight-day-old, went to temple on day of Sabbath, have parents who were care for Him, and even worse, He was born in a manger, not in a nursery bad like other babies at that time.

Though He was baptized and Lord has acknowledged Him, and also overcame temptations in dessert, Jesus still faced many challenges and difficulties!!

In Isaiah 53:4-12, it clearly reflects Jesus' pain in court and at the cross. Let us take the position of civilians at that time, of course we will see Him as the criminal who need to be executed and have no power to defend Himself.

It can be summarized that this reflects Jesus' external pain, pain that people see from Him.

However, we must know that He bore our pain. Yes, pain that we must suffer because our sins' result!! But, we have faithful Lord that want His creations alive, so Jesus was sent to represent us! (Isaiah 53:10).

Now, are you still complaining for facing the difficulties in study, office, family, friendship, etc?
You're not alone, as I am still reminding myself that Jesus has suffered the pain exceeding ours!!
Is anyone here want to die for redeeming other mistakes with love and sincerity? As choose to die for someone without love is just a meaningless death (1 Cor 13:3)

I am a faithful follower of of Christ, doing a ministry, but why I can still feel the pain?

Pain has been the part of human life since fallen of Adam and Eve. Sadly, complaining and put our anger to the Lord only to make things get worse. So what to do? Keep praying, rejoicing, and giving thanks to God in all circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
Remember, Jesus did not curse Lord and anyone at the cross!!!

Let us (of course including me) use the painful moment to remember that God is holding our hand, walking together throughout our suffering.

Moreover, may this Easter moment become the remembrance of A King that gained the victory through painful life, pitiful death, and glorious resurrection.

Happy Easter 2017

P.S.: I have the good songs for Easter
